The lovely Emdoneni is a nature lover's paradise. Set on a small game farm, you are free to walk with nyala, duiker and reedbuck in a beautiful indigenous sand forest area with abundant birdlife. The farm has an interesting cheetah and serval cat project which you can visit. Situated in the heart of Zululand, Emdoneni Lodge and game farm are owner driven and we pride ourselves on the quality and personal service we offer to our guests. Our local knowledge, which we share with our visitors so that they can explore the best Zululand has to offer in the time they have available.
Besides having its very own cheetah and serval project, Emdoneni offers guided tours, open vehicle game drives to the Hluhluwe/Umfolozi Game Reserves and is an excellent central base from which many of the main attractions of Zululand can be explored.
Accommodation is in the form of four luxury chalets, three self-catering rondavels and six tented bushcamps. Our accommodation offers intimacy and comfort and is set in a lovely well- maintained garden with swimming pool and braai facilities.
The swimming pool and lapa are situated in a spacious garden with resident small wildlife. Accommodation in the bush camp is intimate and comfortable.
The Cheetah and Serval Project
The project cares for cheetah and serval which have been orphaned or injured in the wild and in need of care and rehabilitation. We also intend to breed where possible and release the offspring back into there natural habitat.
Feeding of the animals are daily and visitors to the project can experience the feeding and also enjoy an informative talk regarding the animals by a guide.

The management of a wildlife centre in conformance with generally accepted standards, procedures and guidelines set by the KZN Wildlife Services.
To attract local community, including school groups and tourist to the centre for wildlife awareness and educational purposes.
