Standford House is situated only 17km from the bustling Hermanus in the charming and historic village of Stanford. The newly restored historic "langhuis" with conference centre offer a warm welcome, a wonderful stay and a reluctant farewell to its visitors. Stanford House has 20 double bedrooms, housed separately in small Victorian cottages with private verandah. The cottages are set in a picturesque garden with breathtaking views of the Klien River mountains. Each individually decorated room features ensuite bathroom, TV, heated towel rail, hair dryer and complimentary tes/coffee making facility. Our experienced chefs and staff will prepare ascumptious meal for you blending international cuisine with local flavours. In summer meals are also served on the terrace. Light lunches and bar snacks are available in the relaxed atmosphere of our country style pub. Crackling log fires in the lounge encourage relaxation with a good book and a glass of sherry. Recreation facilities include sunset boat cruises, birdwatching, horse-riding and walks in the nearby Fernkloof and Salmonsdam Nature Reserves.
